Research interests include endovascular training and skills assessment, human factors, error reduction, and patient safety within the hybrid operating room environment. Recipient of research funding from the Scientific Research Fund Flanders (FWO), supporting work in endovascular education and procedural safety.

Extensive experience in the development, delivery, and coordination of multicentre vascular research studies. Associate Editor of the European Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery and contributor to several international clinical guideline committees.
